Reconditioning is a process whereby the suspension part i.e. tie-rod end, draglink or ball joint is injected under pressure with a hard wearing polymer bush.  This will eliminate the play. 

The part needs to be removed and brought to the workshop for reconditioning. 

Downtime is 1-3 hours, depending on the workload.  

This method is the most cost-effective option available.
